Our Story
At Titandizke Children and Women Foundation, we believe education is the foundation for breaking cycles of poverty and building a brighter future. Yet in Luangwa District, education is often seen as a secondary option, overshadowed by the daily struggles of survival.

Luangwa faces unique challenges. As a game management area, people and wildlife coexist, but human-animal conflicts frequently leave women widowed, forcing them to become sole providers for their families. With limited opportunities for agriculture, fishing has become the district’s primary livelihood. Its location between the Zambezi and Luangwa Rivers, and proximity to Mozambique and Zimbabwe, presents both opportunities and hardships.

Many parents migrate to Mozambique in search of better prospects, often leaving their children behind. These separations disrupt families and lead to school dropouts, early marriages, and teenage pregnancies, especially for young girls. Education, which could be a lifeline, becomes an afterthought.

We are here to change that narrative.

Our mission is to make education the central pillar of transformation in Rural Zambia, particularly, Luangwa District. By keeping children in school and empowering women through education, we aim to build a future where knowledge opens doors to opportunity and resilience.

We work to reduce school dropouts, prevent early marriages, and create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive. By addressing the systemic barriers that hold families back, we ensure that education becomes a tool for empowerment—not just for children, but for the entire community.

Our vision is simple yet powerful: Creating a place where every child has the chance to learn, dream, and achieve their potential, supported by families and communities who value education as the key to a brighter future.

Together, we can make this vision a reality. Join us in empowering the children and women of Luangwa District through the transformative power of education.
